Kapiw and Apappo are Emi Toko and Fukiko Goukon, two sisters from the Ainu village in Akan. Emi lives in Tokyo and is a renowned singer, while Fukiko is active in Ainu traditions while running the Ainu cafe Poronno in Akan. Having been raised steeped in Ainu tradition, both are excellent singers that will come together for the first time on stage for a rare performance.
